Testimonials

Anna worked with my 18 month old child and was amazing! Her analysis of the problem extremely accurate and she worked so hard with my daughter to fix it. I like how she was very personable with my child and would adapt during a session very seamlessly. If my daughter didn't want to do one exercise she would think of something else to get her motivated. Anna was also so helpful to me (the mom!). She was always available for questions and was very honest about progress. I would absolutely recommend Anna to anyone who has a child in need of PT services.

We had the pleasure of working with Anna this last fall. We had a few concerns with my one year old daughter’s gross motor milestones. From the moment we met Anna, she was professional, compassionate, and a true expert. She took her time building her rapport with my daughter, and before long they were best buddies. Anna provides effective, efficient and play based therapy to help your child reach their highest potential. We will forever be grateful for the wonderful care we received from Anna. On another note, I have a 4 year old son with angelman syndrome, who requires extensive therapy. Hence, we have worked with a LOT of physical therapists through the years, and Anna is simply one of the best!

Anna is extremely knowledgeable about physical development in children and babies. She has great ideas that are easy to implement at home with every day items and toys. Being a mom herself, she really understands that we moms are busy but also want the best for our kids, and makes sure her recommendations are fun and can be easily included in our daily routine.

MISSION
Playtime Pediatric Services started after seeing a gap in the support and care for infants and young children.  After leaving the pediatrician's office, you may have questions about how to help your child move and continue their development that were not answered in the office.  Playtime Pediatric Services is here to help!   Family and therapist work together to find the best activities that fit within your daily life to continue your little one's movement and learning.

SERVICES
Due to COVID-19, Playtime Pediatric Services is offering visits (wellness and physical therapy) virtually.   In-person visits available for local clients.  Contact us to set up your session today!

Monthly Wellness/Milestone Checks
30-45 minutes
Just want some support through the first year of life?  Want to make sure your baby is on track and have some easy ideas to implement immediately?  Monthly checks are for you!  BOOK TODAY!

Virtual or In-Person Wellness Visits
30-60 minutes
Wellness visits are for typically healthy children who may need a little boost in development or for parents who are looking for help to optimize their baby's development.  A skilled physical therapist will talk with you, observe your child, and come up with an individualized plan to encourage age-appropriate movement.  During your visit, you will walk away with education about how to support your child and specific play activities to work on.  This is a great way to bridge the gap between pediatrician appointments and stop the late night Googling!  BOOK YOUR VISIT TODAY!
Reasons you may want a wellness visit:
     - Tummy time feels like a fight
     - My baby looks to one side more than the other, is his head getting flat?
     - How to help my baby roll, sit, crawl, walk
     - When should my baby be rolling, sitting, crawling, walking

* Please note this is a wellness service that will educate you as the parent to help support motor development and learning.  This is not a physical therapy service, despite being performed by a PT.

Skilled Physical Therapy Evaluation
60-75 minutes
A skilled physical therapy evaluation will include a review of medical history, PT observation and handling, standardized tests and measures, assessment of your child's function.  The PT will develop a PT-specific list of areas of need, a treatment plan including goals, and tailored home exercise program.  BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT TODAY!
Reasons you may want a PT evaluation:
     - Developmental delay identified by a pediatrician/medical doctor or during a wellness visit
     - Medical conditions (not an exhaustive list):  Torticollis, plagiocephally, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, low muscle tone, poor coordination, frequent falls, complaints of pain
